Helping me set up Weddings & inflating baloon decor, I have my hubby Chas, and to keep me company in the office we have our 2 gorgeous furbabies.
How it all began
We have worked together and been married for over 35 years. After being made redundant from our last Jobs we decided it was time to work for ourselves. Although unsure how to go about starting a balloon biz during the recession, we found a training course & decided upon a catchy name “Inflate 2 Create” We Inflate Balloons to Create colourful decor for all occasions. Our new venture was ready to start....
On the 9th Feb 2009 Our biz was born and we ventured into the big wide world of balloons.
We joined the Ferderation of small businesses & won best stand at their Business exhibition in Croydon.
I contacted our local paper to see if they were interested in our story as a start up in difficult times and they were.
We have had a lot of fun over the past 12 years, met some lovely suppliers, setup lots of colourful weddings, birthdays and special occasions & worked at some lovely venues.
Our passion hasn’t changed but our business has increased from a balloon comany to full venue styling. Our first wedding with Chair covers was for my cousin Natalie, we loved setting the ceremony room for her and from their everything just got bigger.
In 2016 we won the Guides for Brides 5* Customer Service Award for finishing touches in the South East. Our proudest achievement since starting our Biz!
Meet the team!
As the owner of Inflate 2 Create, I am the creative mind, accounts manager, designer, stylist and everything Weddings & celebrations.
Chas helps me when setting up functions, looks after the van and drives me anywhere and everywhere, plus inflating all the balloons. Our gorgeous furballs keep me company when in the office, but are never allowed near the linen.

Hi i'm Sallyann Clark (or just Sally)
I'm the creative mind behind Inflate 2 Create. I take after my mum always wanting to learn new ideas, like paper craft centrepieces, fantasy flowers and personalised balloon décor to add as extra touches to your special occasion.
On the day of a function I will not leave a room until I'm happy with how everything looks, even the little details like how each bow sits on the chair, is everything where it should be on the tables etc…
Most days you will find me on the laptop dealing with the admin side of the business, or prepping everything for a function & making sure plenty of photos are taken on the day so the customer or happy couple receive some pics of the finished room.
About
Hi I'm Charlie or Chas (hubby & Helper)
I'm Chas, I help with all the background work including maintaining the van, looking after the helium & inflating the balloons, so when you have a balloon exploder, I make it up. I'm also known for climbing ladders to setup lighting and lanterns as Sally doesn't like heights.
When Sally sets up a room with chair covers, I check the height of the sashes, take photos and makes sure everything is completed and kept tidy.
Meeting the clients at a Wedding fayre or their venue is always enjoyable, discussing their weddings or special celebration & how we can make it happen for them.

We are Buttons & Purrdy
Our lovely furbabies Buttons & Purrdy, are mother & daughter. We rescued them in 2014 and they have been great companions to us ever since. Always wanting to be with me when i'm working in the office, a distraction sometimes but always welcome. During covid they were my best friends and sometimes the only ones I could talk to.
